Privacy Policy

Tiny Tots of NJ (www.tinytotsofnj.com) is a free website that lists story times, sing-alongs and play groups for babies and toddlers at New Jersey public libraries. We collect as little information as we can. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Searching for events
You can use the site without an account and without giving us your name or email. When you type a zip code or town, the search runs in your own browser. We remember your last zip code or town on your device only, so it is filled in next time. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. We do not send your searches to our server or keep a record of them.
The contact form
If you send us a message, we receive the name, email, phone number (optional) and message you type. We use them only to reply to you. Messages are emailed to us and kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically. We never sell them, add you to a mailing list, or share them except as needed to deliver the message (see Service providers below).
To stop spam, the form checks your device's IP address. We count how many messages come from one address in an hour and delete that count after 2 hours. The form may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-spam check that is usually invisible.
Service providers
Like almost every website, the site uses a few outside services to work. Each one receives your device's IP address and basic browser details when your browser connects to it.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising. You can block it with Google's opt-out add-on. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Cookies
The site does not use advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits (see above), and Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Event information
Event details come from the public calendar of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS) and its member libraries, and refresh every 15 minutes. Registration links take you to the library's own website, which has its own privacy policy. Please confirm details with the library before you go.
Children's privacy
The site is meant for parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete any message you sent us, and we will answer within 45 days. Because we do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or build profiles, there is nothing to opt out of today. If that ever changes, we will update this page first and give you a way to opt out.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date.
